| Monosson Loft |

This downtown loft was gutted and rebuilt as a two bedroom residence. The main living area preserves the character of its industrial past in the wide open space with its single central cast iron column. The windows of the project are the principal foil to the openness of the space. They are huge and abstractly composed with minimal areas of color. The kitchen opens onto the main space and is of ceramic tile, stainless steel with accent tiles of colored glass. The entrance to the residence is in the form of a photograph gallery with very restrained flat mouldings.
