This full floor apartment on the 9th floor of a grand Park Avenue apartment building was renovated to create a new wing containing entrance, kitchen with breakfast area, bedroom, bathroom, storage facilities and home office. The new wing connects to the reception rooms and main vestibule.

Long views connecting the new wing to the rest of the apartment were developed and integrated with the design. Beech wood paneling in open spaces and a pale, calm color palette organize the project, accented in the kitchen with black granite counters, mirrored backsplashes and translucent glass cabinet doors.

The home office is a contrasting space of compressed activity at the far end of the project, separated for acoustic privacy, and making the most of limited space to create two work stations.
